Arranged by James Pybus. 20th Century,Chamber,Contest,Festival,Film/TV. 30 pages. James Pybus #709209. Published by James Pybus (A0.1106091). La Passerella Di Addio (The Boardwalk Farewell) is music from the 1963 Italian comedy-drama film 8 1/2 directed by Federico Fellini, with music by Nino Rota. The semi-autobiographical plot revolves around Guido Anselmi (played by Marcello Mastroianni), a famous Italian director plagued by director's block. As Guido struggles half-heartedly to work on the film, a series of flashbacks and dreams delve into his memories and fantasies; they are frequently interwoven with reality. 8 1/2 won two Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Costume Design (black-and-white). This arrangement is for SATB Saxophone Quartet and can be played in a variety of performance and concert settings. The duration is 4:40. Contact me at james.pybus56@gmail.com.

Arranged by Ray Thompson. 20th Century,Pop. 7 pages. RayThompsonMusic #412405. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.805368). Arranged standard sax quartet SATB Eight Days a Week is a song by the English rock band the Beatles. It was written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon based on McCartney's original idea.[2] The song was released in the United Kingdom in December 1964 on the album Beatles for Sale. In the United States, it was first issued as a single in February 1965 before appearing on the North American release Beatles VI. The song was the band's seventh number 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, a run of US chart success achieved in just over a year. The single was also number 1 in Canada, Belgium and the Netherlands. The Beatles recorded Eight Days a Week at EMI Studios in London in October 1964. The track opens with a fade-in, marking the first time that this technique had been used on a pop studio recording. The song was reissued worldwide in 2000 on the Beatles compilation album 1. It also provided the title for director Ron Howard's 2016 documentary film on the band's years as live performers, The Beatles: Eight Days a Week.
