The Paddington Bear Theme by Herbert Chappell was used as the theme tune to the British animated television series 'Paddington' which was broadcast on BBC from 1976 to 1980 and produced by Filmfare.The music originated as incidental music for a BBC adaption of 'Lord Peter Wimsey' and released as the B side of that shows theme tune. It was later used in a stage show about Paddington in 1972, with lyrics by the compser's wife.
