Written for Saxophone Quartet, the piece goes through four transitions, each season of the year, starting with Autumn and ending with Summer. It is influenced by jazz but is written in classical format. The piece explores multiple rhythmic challenges, and has a lot of new and interesting ideas that haven't been written before in modern music. The final section for example give the musician a choice of notes to play along to a specific rhythm. It is relatively hard piece to perform, so practise time is recommended due to the challenging rhythmic displacement between parts and quick tempos.

Originally composed for two violins, viola, and basso continuo.I originally wrote this arrangement for a Saxophone Quartet in the classical SATB lineup (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Sax). However, the second part also works well for Soprano Sax, and the third part can be played by an Alto Saxophone. Apart from a few minor changes, I stayed very true to the original composition. I haven't added any articulations and have retained the key of D major.Note: Having two Sopranos in a Sax Quartet is highly unusual. If you have the opportunity, I strongly recommend giving it a try.
