Jazz Combo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.486281 Composed by Marcel Louiguy. Arranged by Julian Perez. Jazz,Latin,Standards. Score and parts. 25 pages. Julian Perez #104677. Published by Julian Perez (A0.486281). This arrangement of Louiguy's Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White was created with four horn parts (Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, Trombone), a rhythm trio, and arranged Congas, Bongos, Claves, and Cowbells (Agogo Bells). It's form gives the melody and a solo going twice through. A unique element to this arrangement are the added Clave and Agogo Bell parts exclusive to the solo section. The idea behind this is for the two horn players without a solo to take up either part and play some auxiliary percussion throughout the solo section until they can get back on their horn. This intermediate arrangement promises interactiveness, great instrumentation, and a fantastic sounding combo!

Let your arrows fly! We'll rage against the darkness for our mothers, our fathers, our futures, our warriors!

Jazz Combo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.934808 By The Ting Tings. By Jules De Martino and Katie White. Arranged by Thomas Ruggieri. Contemporary. Score and parts. 42 pages. Thomas Ruggieri #6718981. Published by Thomas Ruggieri (A0.934808). This one is HOT on the internet! It can be used with or without horns or synth. I mean, The Ting Tings are just two people so there really isn't much to the song. I call it intermediate in difficulty only because horn players are in difficult keys. I disagree with the lyrics listed on the internet in some spots. Because they're hard to hear in the original, mine are every bit as valid as the lyrics sites.Contact me if you have questions: tomruggieri7@gmail.com.

Jazz Combo - Digital Download SKU: A0.979668 Composed by Roger Aldridge. Contemporary,Jazz. Score and parts. 5 pages. Roger Aldridge #546393. Published by Roger Aldridge (A0.979668). Shifting time funk (for 5 wind instruments and rhythm section)! The title expresses my disdain for contending with monster SUVs when driving on Connecticut Avenue in Washington, DC. As I envision this music, it is funky and adventurous. The piece is a minimalist composition -- the melody is only 16 bars. However, it has expanded improvisation concepts for the soloist and the ensemble. The ensemble's collective improvisation is to sound like music coming out of car windows in traffic. The sounds change quickly. Different kinds of music come, go, and overlap. Radios (or electronics) may be used for additional layers of sound. The soloists use four chord progression patterns. Each soloist determines which patterns to play and their sequence. The patterns can be played in any order. Ideally, the patterns are determined within a performance instead of before. The soloist communicates the patterns, and when to shift to a new pattern, to the ensemble by hand signals. Music styles can also shift within a solo. Performers can take the music in any creative direction they want to go with it. Jazz Combo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1049813 Composed by Duke Ellington. Arranged by BRIAN W. COPPING. Jazz,Standards. Score and parts. 28 pages. EMK Music #654201. Published by EMK Music (A0.1049813). Scored for Alto Sax, Tenor Sax (optional), Trumpet, Trombone, Piano, Double Bass and Drums. When Louis Armstrong sang and played ‘Azalea’ with Duke Ellington in 1963, it was a union of two of the greatest and best known proponents of Jazz. Although both champions of Jazz’s African roots, they forged quite contrasting career paths and styles. Nevertheless, Louis’ inimitable larger than life talent was sympathetically supported by the Duke’s often idiosyncratic chord voicings. Although this arrangement is a feature for Trumpet, the notated Rhythm Section could also form the basis for a vocal version. It is at a very achievable level for School and University bands as well as being edited for ease of sight reading on gigs. Print normally on A4 paper – Score will come out as Landscape and parts as Portrait.
