This arrangement is gig-tested and designed for ease of reading during the heat of a live gig. God Save The Queen is the official national anthem of the United Kingdom. This arrangement includes three different voices (soprano, alto, and tenor) as options for the alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and trombone. This means each of the wind instruments can take on the role of playing the melody (soprano), or the supporting alto or tenor voices in a SATB style arrangement, depending on the needs of the ensemble. The soprano voice for tenor saxophone can also be played on Bb trumpet, putting the melody in a suitable higher octave than the supporting alto and tenor voices.
