The melody instrument part is appropriate for violin, viola, flute, clarinet, oboe, etc.This arrangement has three verses; it begins in the key of Db major and modulates to Eb major for the third verse. The harp accompaniment is chords and gentle arpeggiation, with a few glissandos. There are some pedal changes, but never more than one per measure. The C instrument part ranges from Db above middle C to Eb an octave above middle C and follows the hymn's original melody.This arrangement may also be purchased for medium voice and pedal harp. This piece is from her notebook. Arranged in several ways for harps in various combinations: HARP DUET with 2 equally challenging parts; HARP TRIO with harps 1 and 2 in treble clef only, with some lever changes, and harp 3 as a two- handed accompaniment part. A score is also included for study or conducting. DUET FOR HARP AND OTHER TREBLE INSTRUMENT (i.e. flute, violin or recorder), for pedal or lever harp. The Harp 1 part from the Trio version may also be used as the solo instrument with this version. The music assumes the range of the harp to be from C below middle C to the C above treble clef, and is suitable for most 26-string models with levers on C, F and G. There is a high B-flat that can be tuned ahead or preset with levers if you have them. The parts are of varying difficulty to accommodate the wide range of harp playing and reading abilities. All pedal notations will be found below the staff, and lever changes indicated by diamond-shaped notes.
