Winner of the 2020 GSU Wind Band Composition Competition, The Chipmunks and the Alley Cat is heavily inspired by the cartoons of the early 20th Century, such as Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, and Tom and Jerry. This programatic piece for wind quintet follows two playful chipmunks and their clumsy foe, the alley cat, and is a perfect concert/recital opener!
