This arrangement of the brilliant piece from Peter Jackson's King Kong, scored by James Newton Howard, works really well for woodwind quintet. Note that the Oboe player must play cor anglais (English horn) for the entire piece. It is beautiful music and would be ideal for a film music concert or recital.
