Well, the truth is that I am 75. But I wrote this when I was (only) 64, as a kind of birthday present to myself.

 

I was 18 years old when this song came out, sung by the band that shook the world of music. It has been ringing in my head ever since.

 

Things for violin and tuba are pretty rare, so I hope you enjoy playing this arrangement as much as I enjoyed writing it.
