Choral Choir,Choral,SA Chorus - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1407201 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Karen Ivana. Folk,Traditional. 10 pages. Karen Ivana #989896. Published by Karen Ivana (A0.1407201). Well-known English folk song, first published in 1889 about a group of friends who borrow an old horse to go to Widecombe fair. Research suggests that the characters in the song were real people and the events in the song took place in 1802. The song is also known by its old spelling: Widdicombe Fair or as Tom Pearce. This is a simple but entertaining arrangement, with plenty of drama and fun, for two part women's choir and piano. Vocal harmonies are simple and there is plenty of repetition. Also available is a more challenging version for SSA choir and piano, and an a cappella version for SSAA choir.
