Derek Hasted writes With that distinctive punchy bass line made famous by Tine Weymouth, this is a fun and very accessible concert piece!

My arrangement is based around the wonderful A Capella version by The Flying Pickets, but keeps Tina’s distinctive bass line, which is included in both treble clef and bass clef. The Treble clef version drops an octave here and there otherwise the bass line is too lightweight, but the bass clef version (suitable for bass guitar or upright bass, for example) is even closer to the original. In a large ensemble, the two parts can be played together.

The Guitar 2 line has two alternative versions of the motif that appears in the break - one is just a little simpler. In a large ensemble one could make even this a divisi part so make it accessible to less experienced players. Some half barrés are required unless the part is split between multiple players.

The parts vary in complexity across the instruments, from early intermediate to intermediate (although more experienced players will love it too!)
