The prophecy that becomes reality! A lot of patience spent for the long wait that then becomes breath acce- lerated with emotion and then Light. The splendor of the child, of the King of Israel but also the Light that a by now old Simeone begins to yearn to see at the end of his long life. The language deliberately alternates different stylistic features with one true goal: to exalt the Word, make it vibrate with expressiveness.
