Mixed Percussion B-Flat Tuba,B-Flat trombone,Baritone Horn TC/Euphonium,Bass Trombone,E-Flat Cornet,E-Flat Tenor Horn,E-Flat Tuba TC,Flugelhorn,Percussion 1,Percussion 2,Tenor Trombone - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1313069 By Jessica Simpson. By Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn. Arranged by Kevin P Holdgate. 20th Century,Christmas,Jazz. Brass Band. 27 pages. Kevin P Holdgate #901904. Published by Kevin P Holdgate (A0.1313069). Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!, also known as simply Let It Snow, is a song written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945 in Hollywood, California, during a heat wave as Cahn and Styne imagined cooler conditions. The song was first recorded by Vaughn Monroe, and was released just after Thanksgiving, and became a hit by Christmas.Despite the lyrics making no mention of any holiday, the song has come to be regarded as a Christmas song worldwide due to its winter theme, being played on radio stations during the Christmas and holiday season, and having often been covered by various artists on Christmas-themed albums. In the Southern Hemisphere, it can be played during the winter months of June, July, and August; and in New Zealand, some play it at Matariki. This simple arrangement by Kevin P Holdgate for Brass band has a big band feel with many close  harmonies. Simple realised solo s for Flgel and cornet make up the interlude between the verses. (These sections could be repeated with aadditional solos added to the same backing if desired.).

By Thomas Campbell & Charles Wesley. Arranged by Kevin P Holdgate. 19th Century,Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Brass Band. 21 pages. Kevin P Holdgate #970852. Published by Kevin P Holdgate (A0.1386967). And Can It Be That I Should Gain? is a Christian hymn written by Charles Wesley in 1738 to celebrate his conversion, which he regarded as having taken place on 21 May of that year. The hymn celebrates personal salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus, and is one of the most popular Methodist hymns today.Charles Wesley (1707–1788), along with his brother John Wesley, was one of the founding figures of Methodism. Like his brother, he was profoundly influenced by a religious conversion. Charles's experience took place on 21 May 1738 (the feast of Pentecost), and it inspired him to write two new hymns, And Can It Be that I Should Gain and Where Shall My Wondering Soul Begin?. After this, Charles went on to become a prolific hymnodist, composing over 6,500 hymns. The original six-verse hymn And Can It Be? was first published in 1739 in John Wesley's hymnal, Hymns and Sacred Poems, with the title Free Grace. The hymn remains popular today and is included in many contemporary hymn books. In 2013, following a survey conducted by the BBC Television programme Songs of Praise, And Can It Be? was voted number 6 in the UK's Top 100 Hymns.

Kevin P Holdgate #4888829. Published by Kevin P Holdgate (A0.791027). Versatile Brass Wedding CollectionAs an arranger, I am always being asked for versions of songs suitable for wedding ceremonies. Over the last few years, this particular song has proved to be very popular with couples getting married. The solo part can be played on the 1st Trumpet/Cornet part or can be sung. For this purpose, the words are added to the solo part. This is a simple arrangement that can be played by any level of ensemble. The String Synth Part can be omitted if not required. At a little over 2 minutes, this is ideally suited to the procession of the bride into the church, or for the happy couple leaving after the ceremony. It has been used on several occasions in both capacities. .

Clarinet,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.791173 By The Moody Blues. By Jeff Wayne. Arranged by Kevin P Holdgate. Rock. Score and part. 8 pages. Kevin P Holdgate #5337273. Published by Kevin P Holdgate (A0.791173). KPHMS 'Solo' CollectionI did this arrangement originally for a 'Sci-Fi' inspired proms concert in Derbyshire. The organisers had hired two full-sized Daleks which stood on the sides of the stage through the performance and never moved, but pointed their 'exterminate' weapons in my direction throughout the performance. An experience that many conductors may feel they have experienced. The music is from the original 'War of the Worlds' film and was recorded by Justin Heyward and the band 'Moody Blues'.There are solo versions with piano accompaniment of this song available for a variety of instruments in suitable keys. The difficulty level ranges between grade 3 to 5 based on the ABRSM/Trinity scale requirements.A 10 piece version and various solo versions with piano accompaniment are available for this work together with a full brass band version. There are also vocal versions for a male and/or female voice with a standard 3 horn 'Cruise ship' format backing.

Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.862274 Composed by Gioachino Antonio Rossini. Arranged by Kevin P Holdgate. Classical,Opera. Score and parts. 46 pages. Kevin P Holdgate #468774. Published by Kevin P Holdgate (A0.862274). This is an 'abridged' arrangement of the famous overture to Rossini's opera 'The Barber of Saville' but retains all of the character of the original. I originally completed this arrangement as part of an entertainment contest tracing the development of brass band arrangements and the music played by brass bands through the years. The original brass band arrangement of this work was far too long to sensibly fit into an entertainment program so I went back to the original Rossini score and did my own; very much to suit the brass band that I was conducting. This effectively means that it can be played by all grades of band and makes a great concert opener that is not overly long.
