According to Eugen d'Albert (1864 - 1932), these Bagatelles form excellent examples of the master's work of the last period. As for Bagatelle No. 11, he insists that it forms a glorious conclusion to his Opus 119, thus suggesting it is important to render this impromptu with seriousness and devotion.
