Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.753652 By Lady Antebellum. By Jule Styne. Arranged by John Hoesly. Contemporary. Score and parts. 15 pages. PRS&B #6666923. Published by PRS&B (A0.753652). Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!- for Brass Quintet- Written by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne in 1945. Arranged for Brass Quintet by John Hoesly.  Although Let It Snow! is regarded as a Christmas song, it was written in July during a heat wave in California where Cahn and Styne were working at the time; wishing for cooler temperatures. It has been recorded many times over the years and is a wintertime staple.  This arrangement is in a swing style and liberally uses surprise tonal shifts from one key center to another. It is an intermediate to advanced intermediate level arrangement.  All players get a chance at the melody and there is a jazzy F horn solo which can be played as written or improvised (or passed to another player).  A nice selection for your winter concert.  Included score and parts.
