Organ - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1090496 Composed by Nancy DeVries. Arranged by Nancy DeVries. Classical,Praise & Worship,Sacred,Traditional. Score. 4 pages. Nancy DeVries #694674. Published by Nancy DeVries (A0.1090496). Prelude on Adoro Te Devote is a work for organ based on the famous Eucharistic hymn written by Thomas Aquinas, suitable for a prelude at any Catholic Mass throughout the year or for use at Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament or Benediction. It is, in fact, Adoration set to music, which is evident by its meditative quality. The piece would work well on most organs; registration can be done simply or more enhanced when circumstances allow. Most organists and parishes would be appreciative of this work, which beautifully sets the tone for worship.

Organ - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1162578 Composed by Vidas Pinkevicius. Christian,Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score. 5 pages. Vidas Pinkevicius #762951. Published by Vidas Pinkevicius (A0.1162578). This is a meditation on the beloved Gregorian chant tune Adoro te devote written in the key of C major. The tune which features a solo reed stop moves to Eb major area in the second verse before coming back to C major. Gentle refrain played on string stops helps to unify the piece. This composition will be very effective for liturgical organ playing and recital programs whenever contemplative music is desired. Dedicated to the memory of Aleksas SpeiÄys.

Piano,Trombone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1098129 Composed by Traditional plainchant melody. Arranged by Todd Marchand. Medieval,Religious,Sacred. Score and part. 7 pages. Con Spirito Music #702001. Published by Con Spirito Music (A0.1098129). “Humbly I Adore Thee†is a eucharistic, or communion, hymn with text by St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274).The origin of the melody, “Adoro te Devote,†is unclear. In some places it is simply described as a Gregorian chant; in others as a 13th-century Benedictine plainsong; in others as a French church melody published in the Paris Processionale (hymnal or liturgical manual) of 1697. Regardless, it is a lovely, flowing tune well-suited for the legato “singing†capabilities of the trombone, euphonium, or cello. In this arrangement, the soloist plays the tune through on the first verse in D major, adds a descant over the melody played by keyboard in the second verse and, following a short modulation, recapitulates the tune in the concluding key of G major.©Copyright 2022 Todd Marchand / Con Spirito Music (ASCAP).
