This piece is based on the story of Windrush - the name of a  1948 cruise ship, and a word generally used to describe the movement of people from the Caribbean to the United Kingdom, following the British government's invitation for workers to come and help to rebuild the country after World War 2. The song speaks of the journey, and also refers to the final journey to heaven. It is suitable for concerts, or for specific Windrush celebrations, or similar stories of people who have moved from one place to another.  It is simple and features a repeated bass line. The end of the piece gives opportunity for creativity, as the song fades out. It imitates a reggae style - with a repeated bass, and guitar type chords on beats 2 and 4.  Sounds of the sea, and counter melodies can be added.Â
