Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.564924 By Sharon Wilson. By Frederic Chopin. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Classical,Romantic Period,Sacred,Standards,Wedding. Score. 4 pages. Sharon Wilson #3066391. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.564924). This piano solo arrangement of the familiar classic by Chopin, also known as Op. 10, No. 3, is one of the 20 songs included in the collection Wedding Classics Refreshed, Book 1: Preludes, Interludes, Postludes (A Collection of 20 Piano Solos). Deviations from the original have been introduced to make the piece consistently playable by the intermediate pianist. While maintaining characteristics of the original work, subtle variations in melody, timing, and style add a fresh interpretation creating a relaxing instrumental selection ideal for church venues. These songs are favorites for wedding ceremonies, especially as prelude or background repertoire. Published by David McKeown (A0.594417). How Beautiful are the Feet is one of the best loved arias from G F Handel’s oratorio The Messiah. This version is arranged as a solo for Flute with piano accompaniment. The original 1741 version of The Messiah presented How Beautiful are the Feet as a duet for two altos and choir, but in 1749 Handel revised the piece as a solo aria for soprano. This revision forms the basis for this arrangement. The text is taken directly from the book of Romans in the New Testament.Musicians at an intermediate standard will find this ideal for formal and informal concert performances. Total performance time is around two minutes. Click the link YouTube link to listen to a complete performance of the clarinet version of this arrangement.Teachers will enjoy using this arrangement as a fun way to approach expressive playing and phrasing. There are many more top quality arrangements and compositions by David McKeown for you to browse at http://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/david-mckeown/6203
