Rhythm Section SATB Chorus divisi,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1501444 By Various. By Jerome Kern and Otto Harbach. Arranged by Darmon Meader. Jazz. Vocal Jazz Ensemble. 40 pages. Darmon Meader Music #1077390. Published by Darmon Meader Music (A0.1501444). This is an energetic medium swing arrangement of the 1933 Jerome Kern, Otto Harbach classic. Arranged in the New York Voices style, this chart was debuted by Darmon's college level ensemble at the 2024 New York Voices Western Michigan Vocal Jazz Camp. This is a relatively challenging arrangement designed for an advanced high school or college group. There are a few shorter lyric solos, and plenty of room for vocal or instrumental improvisation. This chart is a bit challenging, but worth the effort. The tenors and basses have a LOT of 3rds/7ths relationships, so many tri-tones to be sung. If you've got some strong tenors and basses, give it a try!The PDF set includes: SSATB with chords, Piano, Bass, Drums and Full Score. Rhythm section parts include some fully notated sections, but are mostly chord changes with kicks and hits.
