Bass Guitar,Drum Set,Piano,Synthesizer,Tenor Saxophone,Trombone,Trumpet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.839893 By Javier Colon. By Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jon Buckland, and Will Champion. Arranged by Christopher Alexander. Pop. 47 pages. Christopher Alexander #6069805. Published by Christopher Alexander (A0.839893). Internationally-renown a cappella ensemble Naturally 7 brings a new and impressive rendition of this hit by Coldplay.  Being a cappella for most of the song, the choir and soloists (with some room for improvisatory singing) take charge in bringing this song to life.  This arrangement adapts the setting by Naturally 7 and adds in accompanying instrumentation to give this song more power and support to its universal message - when the instruments come in, get ready to be overwhelmed!  An absolute gem will definitely be a crowd favorite!Octavo also available: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/fix-you-octavo-digital-sheet-music/21868832.

Instrumental Duet,Piano Flute,Instrumental Duet,Piano,Violin - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1298596 Composed by Geraldine (Denny) Green. 21st Century,Chamber,Classical. 32 pages. Geraldine (Denny) Green at Oakmountmusic #888475. Published by Geraldine (Denny) Green at Oakmountmusic (A0.1298596). ALL PURCHASES COME WITH SCORE AND PARTSWhen I was a young child and I would ask my mother for something she would often, in the midst of all her busy jobs, say to me, “Oh, give me a minuet!”, meaning jokingly a minute, of course, before she could tend to my wishes.  This meant that I grew up believing that a minuet and a minute meant the same thing and could be equally interchanged. You can then imagine my amazement and amusement at around 13/14 years of age when I discovered through my music studies that a minuet was in fact a type of musical form and dance! Therefore, it went without saying that at some point in my music writing life I just HAD to write my Mum a minuet! So, here is the minuet she so often unwittingly asked me for throughout our lives! She attended the premiere of the Flute, violin and piano arrangement in Bolton, UK, and was highly amused (and not a little chuffed) by the story behind the piece!Naturally, the piece is dedicated to my mother, Margaret (Pearl) Denny, and was finally written in June 2015 for Gary Woolf and the Banda Di Musica in Germany. Its duration is about 7/8 minutes long and it is intended for junior strings. Violins 1 and 2 are of moderate difficulty, while the Violin 3/violas, cellos/basses are simpler. There is a violin solo throughout (moderate difficulty), to be played by the Leader, but is not a concerto-style solo, but rather one that weaves in and out of the texture throughout the piece. The piece is in a minuet and Trio style and is light, tuneful and fun. There are 3 arrangements available:No.1 – School Arrangement: Violins 1, 2 and 3, Cellos 1 and 2No.2 – Standard Arrangement: Violins 1 and 2, violas, cellos, Double bassesNo.3 – Violin, flute and piano.  This arrangement is of a more advanced standard than the string orchestra arrangements and would suit players of approximately grade 7 upwards.

String Orchestra - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.522247 Composed by Colin Kirkpatrick. Contemporary. Score and parts. 21 pages. Colin Kirkpatrick Publications #4994009. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications (A0.522247). Shetland Sunrise is a movement from Colin Kirkpatrick's suite for elementary string orchestra entitled “Atlantic Highway”. Ideal for end-of-semester concerts or any other school or college concert occasion, these tuneful and attractive pieces are bound to please audience and instrumentalists alike. The work is scored for violins 1 and 2, viola (with an identical but optional part for violin 3 in treble clef), cello, double bass and piano (or digital keyboard). The piano part is an integral part of music and therefore essential. However, it’s not especially difficult and perfectly manageable by the intermediate pianist. All the string parts can be played in first position. Pizzicato is used extensively in the double bass part and in some of the passages for the upper strings. Shetland Sunrise is in G major throughout and the time signature begins in 5/8. This might look a bit daunting to elementary places not used to seeing it but the music is a good deal easier than it appears. Because every 5/8 measure (bar) naturally falls into groups of 3 and 2 beats, the players should be told to count 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, rather than one to five.  They will soon pick up the irregular lilting rhythm. There are also a couple of measures of 7/8 in this piece, which should be counted as 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2. The string parts have been produced in fairly large type making them ideal for elementary players. Cues have been added where necessary.

Solo Guitar - Digital Download SKU: A0.899137 Composed by Giulio Regondi. Arranged by Rod Whittle. Romantic Period. Individual part. 4 pages. Maggie Creek Music #4349081. Published by Maggie Creek Music (A0.899137). for solo classical guitar (tremolo)   4 pp  (7 min.)GIULIO REGONDI  (1823 - 72) Regondi was born in Switzerland, but lived in France and, mostly, the United Kingdom. He was a child prodigy of the guitar, with Fenando Sor dedicating a piece to him when he was just nine. He composed for the guitar and also the concertina. His works for solo guitar comprise etudes, a set of variations and some larger compositions. The tremolo section of the Nocturne (op.19) - subtitled 'Reverie' – must be some of the most wonderful music written for tremolo guitar. In the Nocturne it is split between sections of different style and content, but its effectiveness as a piece is fully satisfied without these interspersed parts, nice as they are, and its persuasive theme quite naturally repeats to end with a superb coda (which also finishes the actual Nocturne). The original score has no dynamics except for the end, and I have not added any. However, the piece is impossible to play without inferring some loudness, tempo and accentuation changes. There is that Romantic period element to it. I have added fingering. I like to settle into a barre position where possible – it often lets the bass accompaniment ring through (e.g. the D in the first few bars) and simplifies the playing. But it hardly needs saying that fingering, helpful if it is good, is a kind of curse if it is bad or just wrong, and it is never mandatory. It is always instructive with tremolo pieces to first play some of the top line (e.g. of the first few bars) without tremolo to properly reveal its melody. The style needs plenty of practice to achieve fidelity to this musical meaning; that is always the aim. Then listen carefully as the lower part is added. The bass is very important, as mentioned, but the harmonies of the broken chords are vital too. The Nocturne is brilliant counterpoint.
