Czerny’s op 299 #27 study has been recast in six different arrangements suitable as accompaniment to exercises in ballet class.  The arrangements are specifically offered to ballet pianists who may want to add Czerny pieces to their class repertory not only for the support the music gives to a particular exercise but because historically Czerny's studies have been foundational to most pianist's technical training.  When using these arrangements in ballet class the pianist will have the incidental benefit of Czerny's historically important pedagogy.  The performances of the arrangements are published in Rudy Apffel’s album, “Czerny for Ballet Class, Arrangements and Re-Imaginings, Part One, 9 Studies from Op 299.”  The album is available on Youtube, Itunes, Spotify, Amazon and other platforms.
