IN PARTY MOOD for WIND SEXTET - This piece was originally written for orchestra in the 1940s by British composer and songwriter Jack Strachey. The tune is best known in Britain as being the theme tune to the BBC radio music request programme “Housewives’ Choiceâ€, which ran from 1946 to 1967. This arrangement is for wind sextet (flute+piccolo, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and 2 horns). The set comprises full score and parts; note that flute is required to double on piccolo. Difficulty level : Intermediate/Advanced.
