Mama is a song by the English rock band Genesis, released as the first single in 1983 from their self-titled album. It is recognisable for its harsh drum machine introduction composed by Mike Rutherford, which leads into minimalist synthesizer lines in a minor tonality and finally Phil Collins' reverb-laden voice. It remains the band's most successful single in the UK.

Something Happened on the Way to Heaven is a song performed by Phil Collins and released in 1990, from the 1989 album ...But Seriously. It became his final US top ten hit as a solo artist, peaking at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in October 1990. A live version also appears on the Serious Hits... Live! album. The only time the title of the song is used is the second line of the third verse. The song is often identified by the recurring hook of How many times can I say 'I'm sorry'?.

A Winter's Tale is a song performed by David Essex on the 1983 album The Whisper. First released as a single in 1982, it reached #2 in the UK singles chart in January 1983, kept off #1 by Phil Collins's cover version of You Can't Hurry Love. A Winter's Tale was written by Mike Batt and Tim Rice in late 1982 in response to a request from Essex. It was released as a single in December 1982. It spent ten weeks in the UK chart, peaking at #2 on 15 January 1983. Later in 1983, the song was included on Essex's album The Whisper.

This transcription for a brass quintet and percussion comes from a wonderful arrangement for a full brass band. Enjoy!
