Around and round the room we go The room we go, the room we go Around and round the room we go, So get yourself a girl. Now ev'ry heart will start to tingle, When sleigh bells jingle on Santa's sleigh Together we will greet Kris Kringle And another Christmas Day. Come on and dance the merry Christmas polka Let ev'ryone be happy and gay Oh, it's the time to be jolly and deck the halls with holly So let's have a jolly holiday Come on and dance the merry Christmas polka Another joyous season has begun Roll out the Yuletide barrels and sing out the carols, A merry Christmas ev'ryone! Come on and dance the merry Christmas polka Let ev'ry lady step with her beau Around a tree to the ceiling with lots of time for stealing Those kisses beneath the mistletoe. Come on an dance the merry Christmas polka With ev'rybody joining in the fun Roll out the barrels that cheer you, And shout till they hear you, A merry Christmas ev'ryone!â€.

Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Ausman, Sonny. Classical,Concert. Score and parts. 16 pages. Gordon Cherry #3919059. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.810943).

Suite from The Magic Flute in 4 movements by W.A. Mozart, transcribed by Sonny Ausman of the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

1. March of the Priests

2. Fanfare

3. Sarastro's Aria (featuring Bass Trombone or Bass vocalist)

4. Chorus of the Priests

A new suite in 4 movements (including the famous 3 chord Fanfare) from Mozart's Magic Flute opera beautifully set for Trombone Quartet and Bass Trombone Solo or Bass Vocalist. The total work is about 10 minutes in length and is for moderately advanced players (good high school and up). The most famous of the movements is Sarastro's Aria which can be performed by a Bass Trombone (5th part) or Bass vocalist. The lyrics are in the original German and the movement is in the key of F (original). The Suite is of moderately advanced difficulty, in tenor and bass clefs. Endurance is not a problem. The highest note is a single high C in the 1st Trombone part. The other movements are delightful in beautiful choral style and will add depth to any recital or concert.

By Duke Ellington. By Duke Ellington/Barney Bigard. Arranged by Keith Terrett. 20th Century,Jazz,Traditional. 14 pages. Keith Terrett #863773. Published by Keith Terrett (A0.1271373).

C Jam Blues is a jazz standard composed in 1942 by Duke Ellington and performed by countless other musicians, such as Dave Grusin, Django Reinhardt, Oscar Peterson, and Charles Mingus, arranged here for Trombone/Low Brass Quintet.

As the title suggests, the piece follows a twelve-bar blues form in the key of C major. The tune is well known for being extremely easy to play, with the entire melody featuring only two notes: G and C.

A performance typically features several improvised solos. The melody likely originated from the clarinetist Barney Bigard in 1941, but its origin is not perfectly clear.

It was also known as Duke's Place, with lyrics added by Bill Katts, Bob Thiele and Ruth Roberts.

Ellington's black and white film was produced in 1942. The video depicts a jam session where Ellington begins playing with a double bass before gradually being joined by other members of his band, among them drummer Sonny Greer and trumpeter Rex Stewart. The film title is Jam Session. Western Swing band leader Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys recorded the song sometime between 1945 and 1947 as part of the Tiffany Transcriptions. Bill Doggett recorded a version on his 1958 tribute album Salute to Duke Ellington (King). C Jam Blues was used by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band as the basis of their song The Intro and the Outro. Mulgrew Miller and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen included the song in their 1999 album The Duets. The Dave Brubeck Quartet performed this live at the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival; the recording appears in their album Newport 1958.
