This is a lovely Irish tune I found many years ago. I added an original section to it and added harmonies. It is a wonderful song for weddings. I use it
frequently for the seating of grandparents and parents. Have used it for maids and even bridal processional. This version is for string quartet plus there is a
chord sheet to add harp, or other. The sheet music version allows the 2nd violin to have the melody and the viola has the melody in the last section that was added but is not on this audio sample. I have done a trio arrangement as well. 
The version on this mp3 is an older one that used harp.  Very nice music for background or for wedding.

This is a fun piece to play. It's very animated with moments of calm. Exciting ending. Great for string orchestra
or can be played by string quintet or quartet.
Makes a great show opener, anytime. From the Title, Halloween is perfect but can be done anytime.
Has musical elements similar to Danny Elfman, Shostakovitch and then original ideas.

Meryton Townhall was used in the movie soundtrack of Pride and Prejudice 2005. The film composer, Dario Marianelli, used several period pieces of 
music for scenes in the movie. This is a lively festive dance that was originally composed by Henry Purcell who lived in the 17th century. It sounds
very folk-like and it's possible he heard it being played by a band and decided to formally write it down.
I took the original music and added a section to it that I composed which sounds stylistically right to give it a bit more length. This music
is great for wedding recessional or just if you want a lively background music piece for your reception or gig it is fun to play. I also did a string quartet
arrangement and you will find that on SMP as well.
