Halloween is a 1978 American independent slasher film directed and scored by John Carpenter, co-written with producer Debra Hill, and starring Jamie Lee Curtis (in her film debut) and Donald Pleasence, with P. J. Soles and Nancy Kyes appearing in supporting roles. The plot centers around a mental patient, Michael Myers, who was committed to a sanitarium for murdering his babysitting teenage sister on Halloween night when he was six years old. Fifteen years later, he escapes and returns to his hometown, where he stalks a female babysitter and her friends, while under pursuit by his psychiatrist. Filming took place in Southern California in May 1978; the work premiered in October, whereupon it grossed $70 million, becoming one of the most profitable independent films of all time. Primarily praised for Carpenter's direction and score, many critics credit the film as the first in a long line of slasher films inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960), and Bob Clark's Black Christmas (1974). It is considered one of the greatest and most influential horror films ever made. In 2006, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant. Halloween spawned a film franchise comprising thirteen films which helped construct an extensive backstory for its antagonist Michael Myers, sometimes narratively diverging entirely from previous installments. A direct sequel of the film was released in 1981. A remake was released in 2007, which was followed by a sequel in 2009. Si Jag (Korean: 시작) or also translated as Start Over or Start, is a song by South Korean singer Kang Dae-ho (Korean: 강대호), better known by his stage name, Gaho. This song was released as a single on the second part of the Itaewon Class soundtrack. This song is written by Sung Il Park, Dong Sung Seo, and Sam Han.

This transcription is written in concert key based on the single version and includes vocal melody, lyrics in Korean & romanised version, and chord symbols. This song is in the key of E major and is about 3’20 long. The tempo of the music starts at 108 bpm, gradually going up, and end at 110 bpm. This score is suitable for an early-intermediate player as it involved many semiquaver/16th note offbeats, which can be quite challenging for some readers and players.

This score includes : 1) lead sheet without lyrics (3 pages); 2) lead sheet with Korean lyrics (3 pages); 3) lead sheet with romanised lyrics (4 pages); 4) chord chart with rhythm slashes (3 pages). This arrangement of Steely Dan's “Sign In Stranger� follows the key and form of the original track but brings in some additional horn lines not in the studio version to make for an exciting live performance! 


The lead sheet/rhythm chart displays the full vocal lead and lyrics, along with chords and cues for the rest of the rhythm section with chords and slashes only through the solo section and in obvious pauses in the verse. The horn charts are of moderate range or difficulty with nothing in the trumpet part above a written “G� on top of the staff and a high “A� for the trombone. 


While written for a band with 4 horns, the Baritone Sax part may be omitted and things will still work out as a 3-horn chart, though it will be important for the Rhythm section to cover the cued bottom notes in the outro. This arrangement has been prepared in the original key of F minor, as recorded.

This tune is an energetic Bossa Nova featuring Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Trumpet, and Trombone. This piece was commissioned by Ralston Middle School, but with their permission, I also wanted to open source it for anyone else who wanted to play the tune. The bass line is a suggested one (it's a simple Bossa Nova line), but the other parts are just with slashes. Great for a middle school band looking to add more of a Latin sound to their set.
