Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Classical,Standards,Wedding. Score and parts. 230 pages. RayThompsonMusic #4312367. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553778).

The Serenade No. 10 for winds in B-flat major, K. 361/370a, is a serenade by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart scored for thirteen instruments: twelve winds and string bass. The piece was probably composed in 1781 or 1782 and is often known by the subtitle Gran Partita, though the title is a misspelling and not in Mozart's hand. It consists of seven movements.

The serenade is in seven movements as follows:

  • I. Largo. Molto Allegro
  • II. Menuetto
  • III. Adagio
  • IV. Menuetto. Allegretto
  • V. Romance. Adagio
  • VI. Tema con variazioni
  • VII. Finale. Molto Allegro
The work is scored for 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 basset horns, 2 bassoons, 4 horns and double bass. The double bass is occasionally replaced by contrabassoon; however, the part is clearly for the former as there are pizzicato markings at points.
I have created 2 additional flute parts to cover a dectet group.(who have 2 additional clts playing with them.

The horn 1/2 parts have the important 3/4 solos as cues.

There are alternative parts provided (for those groups who haven't got the full instrumentation) as follows:
Basset Horns 1/2: clarinets
Bassoons1/2: Bass Clarinets
Horns 3/4 In Bb: Horns in F.

Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Benjamin Karaca. Baroque,Chamber,Christian,Classical,Multicultural,World. 11 pages. Benjamin Karaca #6342517. Published by Benjamin Karaca (A0.946354).

This piece is also known as Air on the G String. It is the second movement from Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3 and is one of Bach's most famous compositions. Originally composed for two violins, viola, and basso continuo.

I originally wrote this arrangement for a Saxophone Quartet in the classical SATB lineup (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Sax). However, the second part also works well for Soprano Sax, and the third part can be played by an Alto Saxophone. Apart from a few minor changes, I stayed very true to the original composition. I haven't added any articulations and have retained the key of D major.
Note: Having two Sopranos in a Sax Quartet is highly unusual. If you have the opportunity, I strongly recommend giving it a try. Especially in the SSAB lineup, this piece has a lot of potential.

Saxophone Quartet SATB (and other lineups). Duration: 5:00 min. Level: 2/5.

Part 1: Soprano Sax
Part 2: Soprano Sax / Alto Sax
Part 3: Alto Sax / Tenor Sax
Part 4: Baritone Sax / Bass Sax
Score in C

A high-quality arrangement by a professional musician. It also includes interesting information about the piece and helpful tips for interpretation. For more information, please visit my website:

Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Nathan Wollmann. This edition: Interactive Download. Classical. Score and parts. 18 pages. Duration 155. Nathan Wollmann #7jW1lNU2qFmYeJg9K7pQhT. Published by Nathan Wollmann (A0.546077).

Key: Bb minor.

This fugue is very chorale-like. It is a five voice fugue and so this arrangement is one voice per instrument. Fugues with less voices are often arranged for quintet because keyboard instruments don't have the limitations like breathing and the difficulty of large jumps. The rhythmic simplicity of this fugue though lends itself better to one fugue-voice, one instrument arrangement. Breathing and range may still be a challenge. I believe that Bach voiced fugues and put them in certain keys for good reason, and thus those elements haven't been altered. But there is a lot of voice-crossing in this fugue and I favored comfortable range over maintaining fugue-voice to keep the individual parts as simple as possible.
