A classic standard arranged for 16-piece bigband comprising 3 trumpets, flugelhorn, 3 tenor trombones, double trigger bass trombone, 2. altos, 2 tenors, baritone sax (with low A), piano, bass & drums. This arrangement explores contemporary jazz harmony and is inspired by greats such as Kenton and Thad Jones. It opens with a challenging 6/4 drum groove before the well known melody with its rich brass harmonies. After the Trombone 2 solo, the saxophone section pays homage to the great Chet Baker. The lead trumpet top note is high A. (Just above the staff).
