This is one of my Cello Trio for Intermediate Cellists. It was written for my students to paly together. The parts are written to be different levels of difficulty:
Cello I being the hardest and includes position work
Cello II is in the middle; easier than part 1 but harder than part 3
Cello III is the easiest , generally staying in first position only

Das Beste ist ein Pop-Song der deutschen Band Silbermond, der als dritte Single von ihrem zweiten Studioalbum Laut gedacht am 6. Oktober 2006 veröffentlicht wurde. In den deutschsprachigen Ländern erreichte der Song in den Charts Spitzenpositionen.  Die Sängerin Stefanie Kloß erklärt im Pressetext ihre persönliche Verbindung mit dem Lied so: „Wenn ich dieses Lied singe, denke ich an meinen Vater, denn sein Tod hat mir gezeigt, wie plötzlich jemand, der dir wichtig war, einfach nicht mehr da ist. A true classic from the 1980s, The Bangles' Eternal Flame went to No. 1 in nine countries.  An unusual pop song in that it doesn't have a chorus, but the melodic line is so instantly recognisable that it doesn't need one!  The 'eternal flame' in question references the Garden of Memories at Elvis's grave in Graceland, where there is a flame that is never extinguished. Originally written by Vince Clarke for his band Yazoo (with singer Alison Moyet), the a capella group The Flying Pickets had a major hit with the song a few years later. This arrangement was done as a special request for a wedding, and was a huge hit with the couple. I think it's one of my best arrangements.
