This vocal arrangement is quite similar to the original song, rather than a choral arrangement you'll find a rhythmic approach.

I only used two phrases of the original three ones, with the beautiful refrain with an harmonic movement at bars 38 and 39.

In the ending I took some liberties, there isn't the powerful à la Caruso ending. Instead, after the closing there is a little more complex and dramatic harmonic part.

Your attention please: I wrote two arrangements: a richer SATTBB and a simpler SATB; soprano and contralto between the two are different, it is not enough to remove the second tenor and the baritone from SATTBB to obtain SATB.

L'arrangiamento vocale è abbastanza simile all'originale per cui piuttosto che un arrangiamento corale ho preferito un approccio ritmico.
Ho usato solo due frasi delle tre originali con il bellissimo ritornello che si movimenta armonicamente alle battute 38 e 39.
Nel finale mi son lasciato andare, non c'è il finale potente alla Caruso ma dopo la chiusura c'è una parte armonica un po' più complessa e drammatica ma che termina in modo scherzoso.

Attenzione: ho scritto due arrangiamenti: SATTBB più ricco e SATB più semplice; le parti di soprano e contralto tra i due sono diverse, non basta levare il secondo tenore e il baritono da SATTBB per ottenere SATB se no non suona bene.

Gonzaga re-recorded it six years later, for his LP “Meus Sucessos com Zé Dantas� and an instrumental version, in 1972, for the LP “São-João Quente�. According to Zé Dantas: His verses begin by singing the mandacaru, a cactus that does not depend on the rain to bloom, a phenomenon that, when it happens in the dry season, makes the caboclo believe that the thunderstorm is approaching. This superstition led us to establish a simile between the mandacaru flower, a prodromal sign of the rain that arrives giving the earth fecundity, and the girl who, getting sick of the doll, becomes a woman.

A lovely set of variations on the Austrian folk song 'Cousin Michael was there last night'. Originally for csakan or 'romantic recorder' (tuned to G) and guitar, this arrangement, for soprano recorder and piano, offers the recorder part in the original printed key of G - so we play almost exactly the same fingering as the csakan. The guitar part, however, originally written out in the sounding key of C, has been arranged for piano and transposed to G. The piano part keeps as closley as possible to the simple unobtrusiveness of the guitar, with minimal filling out, mainly in the right hand. Metronome markings are ediorial. Slurs, dynamics, etc. are as in the original (where I have added simile, it is to be understood that the slurring of the  preceding bars is to be followed all through). Nothing is known of the composer. The piece was published in Vienna in 1815.

La Messa di Requiem in Re minore K 626 Ã¨ l'ultima struggente composizione di Mozart. Rimasta incompiuta per la morte dell'autore, avvenuta il 5 dicembre 1791, fu completata successivamente da Franz Xaver Sussmayr.

L'opera è legata alla controversa vicenda della sua morte avvenuta il giorno successivo al completamento delle parti vocali del Lacrimosa. Stendhal parla di un anonimo committente che incaricò Mozart, malato e caduto in miseria, di comporre in quattro settimane una messa da requiem, dietro compenso di cinquanta ducati. Completato quasi certamente entro la quaresima del 1792, il Requiem venne ritenuto per un certo periodo opera del solo Mozart anche per il fatto che la calligrafia di Süssmayr risulta essere molto simile a quella di Mozart: fino agli inizi degli anni novanta del XX secolo si riteneva infatti che l'indicazione, posta in testa alla prima pagina, recitante di me W.A Mozart mppa. 1792 fosse stata apposta da Mozart stesso.

Fu probabilmente solo con l'edizione a stampa di Andrè del 1827 che parte dei dubbi vennero fugati: forse per la prima volta nella storia della musica, una partitura venne pubblicata con un commento critico nel quale si tentava di stabilire con certezza ciò che è certamente di Mozart e ciò che è di pugno d'altri; l'edizione Breitkopf indicò poi con una M il materiale sicuramente mozartiano e con una S quello attribuito a Süssmayr.

Leggendo il testo si può capire quanta intensità e potenza è racchiusa in questa composizione:

Dies irae, dies illa, Solvet saeclum in favilla, Teste David cum Sibylla. Quantus tremor est futurus, Quando Judex est venturus, Cuncta stricte discussurus!

Giorno d'ira, quel giorno distruggerà il mondo in faville, com'è attestato da Davide e dalla Sibilla. Quanto grande sarà il terrore quando verrà il giudice a valutare ogni cosa severamente.
