It is best known in the English-speaking world as Here Comes the Bride. Queen Victoria’s daughter used the music for her marriage in 1858, and its popularity has endured ever since. This version is arranged as a solo for Clarinet and Piano.Musicians at an intermediate level and above will find this ideal for formal and informal performances, especially at weddings. This version is arranged as a duet in a Jazz Swing style for one Soprano Saxophone and one Clarinet. The Christmas lyrics we know and love were added much later by English hymn-writer John Mason Neale and were first published in 1853.
