Woodwind Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.947992 Composed by Johann Friedrich Burgmuller. Arranged by Doniell Cushman. Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. 82 pages. Doniell C Cushman #4776261. Published by Doniell C Cushman (A0.947992). The transcriptions found in this book are intended to be played as chamber music. Included are all of the original pieces from Burgmüller’s Twenty-Five Easy and Progressive Studies Op. 100. Originally written for the developing pianist, these have been arranged for flute ensembles and require a strong spirit of interpretation. All pieces have individual characteristics, and as such are an underrepresented area of Romantic music in flute literature. Students capable of playing at a high school level will find these to at least be modestly challenging. All repertoire in this book is suggested a tempo that is befitting of the instrument as the original markings would not be feasible.
