Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.733625 Composed by Amy J. Snyder. Celtic,Concert,Folk,Holiday,World. Score. 7 pages. Amy J. Snyder #6320153. Published by Amy J. Snyder (A0.733625). Squall at Kilkee Bay is a lively, advanced intermediate piano solo, with a Celtic flavor. This arrangement has several keychanges, and helpful fingering. It's a great show-piece for recitals or just for fun. The title refers to an historic event, the shipwreck of the Edmond, in 1850 in Kilkee Bay, Ireland. The Edmond was battered by a fierce storm and pushed into the Bay, crashing against the rocks. A man by the name of Richard Russel was occupying a house on the bay. He was trying to secure his rattling bedroom window, when he spotted the distressed ship. He call the coastguard and then went down to the ship to try to help people to safety. He and 3 coastguards, James McCarthy, Timothy Hannigan, and Patrick Shannon rescued 100 passengers, men, women and children. Many others were not as fortunate. The 3 coastguards received silver medals for their heroic efforts. It's quite a story! Trumpet Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.969866 Composed by Amy Dunker. Concert,Contemporary. Individual part. 13 pages. Amy Dunker #6083273. Published by Amy Dunker (A0.969866). Three Images from the Hubble Telescope consists of three musical meditations on pictures taken through the telescope. The work can be performed with or without projected images. I. NGC 4907 The barred spiral galaxy known as NGC 4907 shows its starry face from 270 million light-years away to anyone who can see it from the Northern Hemisphere. II. Interstellar Comet Borisov On Aug. 30, 2019, when amateur astronomer Gennady Borisov gazed upward with his homemade telescope, he spotted an object moving in an unusual direction. Now called 2I/Borisov, this runaway point of light turned out to be the first confirmed comet to enter our solar system from some unknown place beyond our Sun’s influence. III.  Rose Galaxies The image shows a large spiral galaxy apparently attached to another one by a swirl of stars – a rose-like effect caused by the gravitational pull of the galaxy below it. The sprinkling of blue jewel-like points across the top of the larger galaxy is the combined light from clusters of intensely bright and hot young blue stars. These massive stars glow fiercely in ultraviolet light.Duration:  11:30

Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1412974 By Damien Gauci. By Damien Gauci. Contemporary,New Age. Full Performance. Duration 230. Damien Gauci #994979. Published by Damien Gauci (A0.1412974). This composition is the last piece of my album ‘Sunday’. It is heard after ‘Sunset’ and reflects the stars that have come out after a relaxing Sunday. The piece begins and ends with warm chords as well as a slow, flowing melody that rests on top. This short introduction encapsulates the cooling air and the fading glow of the sun as the stars start to show themselves spotted throughout the night sky. Most of the piece is built upon flowing arpeggios, initially in the left hand, but later in the right hand too. These arpeggios are reflective of the twinkling stars scattered in the night sky. The simple, slow moving melody drifts above the arpeggios and creates an overarching arc to the piece, reflecting the spiral of the milky way visible from our planet. The culmination of these elements creates a dreamy and sparkly atmosphere to mark the end of a beautiful Sunday.
