It was originally completed for organ and then turned into this present form as the work has the definite feel of a trio sonata. It is featured in this form on the 2002 Arcady CD A Beckett Miscellany. The instrumentation, as with Baroque chamber music, is flexible. A version of Fantasia also has been made for three instruments.
