This is an eight-and-a-half minute concert overture inspired by a seventeenth-century play by Englishman John Webster.  The play addresses Italian court intrigue, and in the story, everyone behaves badly, and everyone ends in tragedy.  The piece was premiered by the Daegu Contemporary Music Orchestra in South Korea in 2006, directed by Hong-Ki Choi.  The file contains score and complete parts.

One movement was premiered in 2011 in the series Soli fan tutti at the State Theater in Darmstadt, Germany. Of about seven minutes in total duration, the three movements explore a variety of moods, as in a dialogue where many emotions and ideas are expressed and debated.
