Since then, it has had many famous covers. In 1941, Frank Sinatra and Tommy Dorsey recorded this song in a jazz idiom and it remained popular for the remainder of World War II. Later, in 1980, Michael Berry did a cover where it reached the top 10 in the UK Singles Chart. Great for recitals, concerts (love-themed), weddings, and other special occasions. Voice range sits well for mezzo-soprano or alto. Duration ~3:30. 38 pages.

Thanks, John. Everything Happens to Me (1940) is a pop standard written by Tom Adair (lyrics) and Matt Dennis (music). It was first recorded by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra featuring Frank Sinatra. Unusually, the song focused on Sinatra's vocal, with no trombone solo by Dorsey. Years later, Sinatra rerecorded the song with the Hollywood String Quartet; this version was featured on his 1957 album Close to You.
