Handbell - Digital Download SKU: A0.781189 By Henry Mancini. By Henry Mancini. Arranged by Kathleen Henson. Jazz. Score. 4 pages. Kathleen Henson #3239771. Published by Kathleen Henson (A0.781189). For 3 Otcave Handbells AGEHR Level: 2 This arrangement has a few bell changes but the tempo is slow enough to allow the changes to occur with little difficulty.  It does shift until a new key and once there the bell changes are minimal.  Mercer and Mancini wrote the song for Audrey Hepburn to sing in the film Breakfast at Tiffany's. The lyrics, written by Mercer, are reminiscent of his childhood in Savannah, Georgia, including its waterways. As a child, he had picked huckleberries in summer, and connected them with a carefree childhood and Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn.

Soprano, tenor and piano or piano alone - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q6181 Version for two voices and piano or piano alone. Composed by George Percy Aldridge Grainger. This edition: score. Downloadable, Score. Duration 6 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q6181. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q6181). Vocalises. No traditional tunes of any kind are made use of in this piece, in which I have wished to express my personal feelings about my own country (Australia) and people, and also to voice a certain kind of emotion that seems to me not untypical of native-born Colonials in general.Perhaps it is not unnatural that people living more or less lonelily in vast virgin countries and struggling against natural and climatic hardships (rather than against the more actively and dramaticly exciting counter wills of their fellow men, as in more thickly populated lands) should run largely to that patiently yearning, inactive sentimental wistfulness that we find so touchingly expressed in much American art; for instance in Mark Twains Huckleberry Finn, and Stephen C. Foster's adorable songs, My Old Kentucky Home, Old Folks at Home, etc. I have also noticed curious, almost Italian-like, musical tendencies in brass band performances and ways of singing in Australia (such as a preference for richness and intensity of tone and soulful breadth of phrasing over more subtly and sensitively varied delicacies of expression) which are also reflected here.Percy Aldridge Grainger.
