This beautiful, melodic movement, taken from Léon Boëllmann's famous Suite Gothique for Organ, has finally been arranged for Full Orchestra. The movement opens with a wonderful clarinet solo, accompanied by delicate strings, before gradually building up towards a full orchestral texture. The faster middle section offers a distinct contrast, with exquisite harmonies being brought to the fore by the rich brass section. This arrangement is the ideal concert piece, fully capable of being performed as a stand-alone movement.
