Brass Band,Brass Ensemble Euphonium,Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1504183 Composed by Traditional Scottish Air. Arranged by Alex Wilson. Celtic,Classical,Folk,Irish. 11 pages. Alexander Wilson #1079638. Published by Alexander Wilson (A0.1504183). O ye'll tak' the high road, and I'll tak' the low road,And I'll be in Scotland afore ye,But me and my true love will never meet again,On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.Loch Lomond is a story of two imprisoned Scottish soldiers, one scheduled to be released and the other scheduled for execution.  In Celtic mythology, the slain soldier's soul will travel back to his homeland via the low road.  The music is a strange and beautiful mixture of sad and uplifting emotions.Based on R. Vaughan Williams' 1921 choral arrangement of Loch Lomond, this arrangement is for 3 Bb trumpets, 1 horn in F, 1 trombone, and 1 tuba, with optional treble and bass clef euphonium parts.  Performance time is approximately 1'45.  The arranger is willing to accomodate minor changes of instrumentation upon request.

Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1429684 Composed by Ralph Vaughan Williams. Arranged by Thomas R. Vozzella. 20th Century,Christmas,Classical,Folk,Traditional. 8 pages. Thomas R. Vozzella #1010363. Published by Thomas R. Vozzella (A0.1429684). Based on texts from the book of Genesis, commonly perfomed during the Christmas Season, The Truth from Above can be used throughout the year as the text is very adaptable.  it is also appropriate at times throughout the year. The truth sent from above is an English folk carol of unknown authorship usually performed at Christmas. Collected in the early part of the 20th century by English folk song collectors in Shropshire and Herefordshire, a number of variations on the tune exist, but the text remains broadly similar. The first line of the carol is This is the truth sent from above.

Small Ensemble Low Voice,Medium Voice,Piano Accompaniment,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.749825 Composed by Evelyn R. Larter ASCAP. Arranged by Evelyn Larter Music. Christian,Sacred. Score and parts. 7 pages. Evelyn R Larter #3516173. Published by Evelyn R Larter (A0.749825). The much loved hymn by Horatius Bonar to a tune by early English composer Thomas Tallis is set here for low voice with violin obbligato. The melody is familiar in its setting by Vaughan Williams as Five Variants on Dives and Lazarus. Of moderate difficulty, this would make a lovely prelude or offertory piece, and could also be used in concert settings. Two copies are required for performance. A high voice setting is also available. More information about my music may be found on my website, www.evelynlartermusic.com, or on my Facebook page for Evelyn Larter Music.
