Everyone gets to sing at least part of the melody at some point. Vocal ranges: Part I (Bb3-Eb5), Part II (Bb3-A4), Part III (F3-Eb4). The whistling sections may be sung on an oo and/or whistled by some singers. There are 4 solo options: two for Part I or II, and two for Part III. This arrangement works beautifully for middle school and 9th or 10th grade high school ensembles. Part III is especially appropriate for boys' changing voices.
