Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Violin,Voice - Digital Download SKU: A0.800311 Composed by Sarah Wallin Huff. Contemporary. Score and parts. 6 pages. Novel Soundtrax #2035891. Published by Novel Soundtrax (A0.800311). This original work for Soprano and Violin is the second installment of the in-progress Brothers Grimm Song Cycle, the sister piece to Fair Katrinelje and Pif-Paf-Poltrie. Like its predecessor, it features Stravinsky-style charisma and charm in depicting the tale of a young rogue of a boy offering solace to an old beggar-woman, and the moral to be taken from the boy's folly when things go awry... Composed in 2011, this short work is a hefty jaunt of rhythmic and tonal flourish; a challenge and a delight to perform!https://youtu.be/DXuKllhGX2Q

Concert Band - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1236233 Composed by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. Arranged by Matt Nabozny. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show. Score and Parts. 38 pages. Matthew Nabozny LLC #831745. Published by Matthew Nabozny LLC (A0.1236233). Feed the Birds is a song written by the Sherman Brothers (Richard M. Sherman & Robert B. Sherman) and featured in the 1964 motion picture Mary Poppins. The song speaks of an old beggar woman (the Bird Woman) who sits on the steps of St Paul's Cathedral, selling bags of breadcrumbs to passers-by for two pence a bag (equivalent to about 13p in 2022) so that they can feed the many pigeons which surround the old woman. The scene is reminiscent of the real-life seed vendors of Trafalgar Square who began selling birdseed to passers-by shortly after its public opening in 1844.
