Instrumental Duet,Lever Harp - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.808024 Composed by Traditional Christmas Carol. Arranged by Serena O’Meara. Christmas,Holiday,Multicultural,Standards,Traditional,World. 20 pages. O'Meara Music #5026257. Published by O'Meara Music (A0.808024). This sweet, well known Christmas melody was originally a Finnish springtime song, dating to the 13th Century. It was published in 1582 in a book of seventy-four songs. After receiving a copy of that book as a gift, John Mason Neale set his lyrics celebrating the famous Bohemian (907-935) to this melody. In 1854, the book Carols for Easter-tide was published, including Good King Wenceslas as a Springtime song. This arrangement has 5 verses in the key of G. It represents Good King Wenceslas and his Page trudging through (eighth notes) the harsh winter weather on December 26 as they leave their warm castle to help the poor. Occasionally there is a pause as they catch their breath or look through the swirling snow at how far they have traveled. The fourth verse represents the Page walking in King Wenceslas’s footsteps. The melody is divided evenly between parts. Dynamics are clearly marked. You will receive the Score, Harp I, and Harp II.

Chamber Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.882855 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Geoffrey Loff. Classical. Score and parts. 70 pages. Geoffrey Loff #1988433. Published by Geoffrey Loff (A0.882855). An arrangement of Mozart's 22nd Piano concerto for String Quartet and Piano. The string parts are included as well. By arranging these Concerti for string quartet and piano I hope to make it possible for more pianists to play them in a chamber setting, and for more audiences to become acquainted with, or reacquainted with, these works of art. The beauty, of these arrangements is that they bridge the gap between playing this concerto in public with a 2nd piano accompaniment, or with full orchestra. They make it possible for pianist and string quartet to reinvigorate the canon of these Concerti without the space, sonic volume, and expenses of full orchestra, thus making it possible to play in a wider variety of smaller and more intimate venues. This in turn creates the opportunity for more audiences to enjoy these works performed more often. I have loved these pieces all my life, and by arranging them in this way the Mozart Piano Concerti will be played more, heard more, and be given the honor they deserve.

B-Flat Clarinet,Piano - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1384514 Composed by James M. Guthrie. 21st Century,Chamber,Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Wedding. Score and part. 25 pages. Jmsgu3 #968787. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1384514). A concert solo or encore with piano accompaniment. A good encore is essential for a concert as it can be the show's highlight and leave a lasting impression on the audience. While encores were traditionally spontaneous, they have become a customary part of a concert's script, with performers often planning them. Encores allow artists to play fan favorites, respond to audience enthusiasm, and create a memorable conclusion to the show. They can also provide a break for the performers. However, some artists and concertgoers have disapproved of encores becoming a routine part of the show, as they can feel disingenuous when expected rather than spontaneous. Despite this, encores remain an expected and significant element of many live performances.

Brass ensemble 2 Trumpets - Digital Download SKU: LX.30-2328R Transcribed and Edited for B-flat or C Trumpets. Composed by George P. Telemann. Edited by David Cooper. 56 pages. Roger Dean - Digital #e30/2328R. Published by Roger Dean - Digital (LX.30-2328R). Originally written for two flutes or recorders, Dr. Cooper has edited and prepared these to be beautiful teaching pieces for two trumpets. While they are titled “suites,†they are organized more like sonatas in the fast/slow/faster movement format. These duets are unique in that they are canonic; this might suggest simplicity, but these duets are anything but simplistic. Many of the duets incorporate chromaticism while others modulate. Both players have an equal role in each piece as a duet, and the music sounds complete even with only one player. This allows these pieces to be practiced as solo etudes and as duets. A Performance/Accompaniment CD is included allowing the player to hear a complete duet performance and also to play along as either trumpet 1 or 2.

String Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1209097 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 – 1827). Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. 19th Century,Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Traditional. Score and Parts. 19 pages. Jmsgu3 #807198. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1209097). 5. Allegro ma non troppo.Beethoven's Bagatelles Op. 33 are pretty typical of his early style, retaining many compositional features of the early Classical period.  The first bagatelle is arguably one of Beethoven's most well-known pieces. While they may seem light-hearted and not to be taken too seriously, they are still well-crafted works that embody the younger Beethoven's style. The Bagatelles Op. 33 were composed by Beethoven in 1801-02 and published in 1803. Bagatelles are shorter and less complex than sonatas, often consisting of a single movement. They were intended to be played as light entertainment or as encores at the end of a concert.Bagatelle No. 5 of Beethoven's Op. 33 is a short piece that showcases the composer's mastery of melody and harmony. The piece is in the key of C major and is written in a simple ternary form, with a lively and playful opening theme that is followed by a contrasting middle section in the homotonic key of C minor. The opening theme is characterized by its use of syncopation, which give it a lively and energetic feel. The middle section, on the other hand, is more introspective and lyrical, with a more subdued and melancholic mood. The piece ends with a return to the opening theme, which is now played in a surprising and forceful manner. Overall, Bagatelle No. 5 is a charming and delightful piece that showcases Beethoven's skill in creating memorable melodies and harmonies within a concise and compact form.

Brass Ensemble Trombone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.792438 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by David Mathie. 20th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 26 pages. Gordon Cherry #4821671. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792438). Equali were works written for equal, or similar, instruments; in the eighteenth century they were almost always used for funeral services and usually employed a quartet of trombones.  The most famous of these were the three Beethoven wrote for the Linz Cathedral in Austria on All Soul’s Day 1812.  Two of these were adapted later for male voices and were sung at Beethoven’s funeral. These pieces are some of the most famous works for trombones, no doubt due to the fact that they were composed by Beethoven.  They were commissioned by Franz Xaver Glöggl, Kappelmeister of the city of Linz, while Beethoven was visiting his brother.  According to later accounts by Glöggl’s son, although his father had a complete collection of trombones (soprano, alto, tenor, bass or quart) the three Equali were performed by a traditional quartet of alto, tenor and bass trombones. This edition offers a compromise:  the original score and parts are given exactly as written in the complete works, and a version designed for the less experienced players:  the three movements are transposed down one step, edited with minor musical suggestions, and all four parts are written in bass clef. Dr. Mathie has done the Trombone world a great service in bringing this great work in its two forms to publication.
