B-Flat Clarinet Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.581993 Composed by Sigfrid Karg-Elert. Arranged by John Gibson, editor. 20th Century,Contemporary,Instructional. Individual part. 40 pages. JB Linear #3885595. Published by JB Linear (A0.581993). Sigfrid Karg-Elert (1877 – 1933) was an instructor of music theory and composition at the Leipzig Conservatory. He wrote his 30 Caprices for a flautist friend in 1918 and they have since become standard etudes for flute students. With some editing as to range and technical issues arising between the flute and the clarinet, they also work well for clarinet. There were three caprices omitted in this edition since they were unsuitable for clarinet (#18, 23, 28). The clarinetist will find these caprices challenging and instructive.    One should note that the convention of accidentals only effecting the note in the octave in which it is first played is usually marked in this edition, and the player should be aware that this is the case throughout. - John Gibson, editor

Brass Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.1006832 Composed by Eddie Hurt. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 96 pages. Eddie Hurt #3006787. Published by Eddie Hurt (A0.1006832). This composition was inspired by a cruise of the Mediterranean and visits to Italy, Croatia, and Greece.   I was struck by the age and endurance of the structures and the history of the region.  The hard work and thought that went into the construction of theses incredible buildings  that have survived 1000s of years was amazing.  I describe my musical style as neo polyphonic.  I write each part as a spate melody or counter melody and the harmonization is what occurs naturally as they entwine.    They are usually impressionistic in nature reflecting  some action or scene.  The First movement is my impression of walking on the ancient roman roads. I found them uneven and I I was wobbling all over the place. To me it sounds  like a old wagon with different sized wheels going down the road with other traffic.  The second movement. Is  inspired by the great Cathedrals you find all through Europe.   They are huge open and full of history.  As you wonder through them you can feel the history and the devotion in them.  The third movement  evokes the fast ride of a cavalry unit scouting enemy territory and having a skirmish with and enemy then riding off..  It was inspired by all the history of conflict between the countries  of the Mediterranean.

String Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.947255 Composed by John Philips. Blues,Jazz. Score and parts. 25 pages. John Philips Music Service #1996111. Published by John Philips Music Service (A0.947255). This is a simple 12 bar boogie for string orchestra that is fun to play and will let the players have a good time while they perform. There is nothing past an eighth note---no hemidemiquavers--..-The Heritage Series is written to be easy to play and easy to listen to. They all have familiar tunes, sound full, have easy ranges and involve nothing more complicated than an eight note. The object is to produce music and not to display technique. The harmonies, lines and logical counterpoints make these arrangements play well with modest technique. Markings are at minimum to keep things simple. String Bass and Piano must be used to make these arrangements work. The optional acoustic guitar (NOT ELECTRIC) will help the rhythm section. Electric bass could be substituted. If you use an electric bass player, sometimes they can be converted to an upright bass or cello player player( –a devious but legal way to get more players in your school orchestra). There is a 3rd Violin part that is really a treble clef viola part if you have no viola players, or to bolster what you have.

But thankfully, they find a fun new way to get around that - and now you can emulate that fun new way of getting around if you grab out your saxophones, get a good pianist and purchase a copy of this arrangement of Camille Saint-Saëns's fun little satirical scherzo about these bizarre marsupials. It's all yours for just 7 US dollars! If you'd like to hear some of my other arrangements, feel free to check out my YouTube channel, Sam Bateman's Music. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.533330 Composed by Marie-Agnès Nataf. Concert,Contemporary. Score. 7 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #2344341. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533330). Il fuoco rubato is one of the 3 pieces for piano solo Anamorphoses whose titles areBartoquade I, Bartoquade II b and Il fuoco rubato. These pieces can be linked together as awhole, in that order. The duration is of 5 minutes. They can also be played separately, orgrouped by two (Bartoquades I et II b, duration 3’). The same approach governs the writing ofthese compositions : taking model on works of the repertoire and transforming them as muchas possible while keeping a lot of important parameters. There are many cautionary accidentals. They are not enclosed in brackets to avoidoverloading writing. They are not systematically mentionned. In case of doubt, one willconsider the logic of the composition. When useful, one can distribute differently notesbetween the 2 hands on the condition of respecting the balance between voices. The sign *[on measure 80 means chromatic cluster (F-F#-G).  Marie-Agnès NATAF was born on March 2, 1952 at Issy-les-Moulineaux, in the suburbs of Paris, Before deciding to devote herself completely to music, she began by studying both mathematics and musics at the same time. She had a varied base in her musical training, which allowed her to understand the teaching of her main teacher Narcis BONET. She studied the piano, chamber music, musical analysis, harmony and also to a lesser degree the flute, counterpoint and conducting. As a pianist, she received a First Prize in Piano and in Chamber Music at the Orsay Conservatory, the Gold Medla at the National Music School of Cahcan and the Artist Diploma at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris – in the class of Germaine MOUNIER. For composition, she studied with Narcis BONET (who later invited her to the Conservatoire Américain of Fontainebleau as accompanist and teacher of French Diction), Yoshihisa TAÃRA, and Edith CANAT de CHIZY. Having taught for a time at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, she is currently professor of piano at the Conservatoire Erik Satie of Villebon-sur-Yvette, Marie-Agnès Nataf has a double career of performer and composer. In both areas, she is especially attracted to chamber music, for the rich musical and human exchanges that this type of music permits. She has written her works Trois mélodies sur des poèmes de Marie-Isabelle SOLANO, Révolte sans paroles and Elan brisé for her colleagues the mezzo-soprano Nicole PARAMYTHIOTTI and the flutiste Isabelle MARCHAL with whom he has given concerts for many years. As a performer, she has premiered works by composers such as Gian-Paolo CHITI, Gloria COATES, Jean-Marie MACHADO, Yoshifumi UMEZAWA, Miao Wen WANG, without speaking of her own compositions. She also tries to discover high quality works of music which are rarely performed, especially works by women composers such as Thérèse BRENET, Dianne GOOLKASIAN-RAHBEE, Ruth LOMON. Her principal works are Trois mélodies sur des poèmes de Marie-Isabelle SOLANO, for mezzo-soprano and piano, 8'30, 1981-83-86. Bartoquade I - Anamorphoses I, 1', et Bartoquade II b - Anamorphoses II, 2', for piano, 1990 revised in 2012. Il fuoco rubato - Anamorphoses III for piano, 2', 1991 revised in 2012. Révolte sans paroles for mezzo-soprano, flute and piano, 16'30, 2000. and Elan brisé and flute and piano, 6'30, 2005. In 2001, on the ocassion of the premier of Révolte sans paroles at the Centre Culturel Jacques Brel of of Villebon-sur-Yvette, she was invited to give a conference on her works at the Conservatoire Erik Satie. In April 2002, her songs were selected by the ensemble North /South Consonance directed by Max LIFCHITZ in a competition. In 2012, the Bartoquades were chosen to be on the list of works proposed by the FFEM for their examination list for intermediate pianists. On the su.

Chamber Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.882855 Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arranged by Geoffrey Loff. Classical. Score and parts. 70 pages. Geoffrey Loff #1988433. Published by Geoffrey Loff (A0.882855). An arrangement of Mozart's 22nd Piano concerto for String Quartet and Piano. The string parts are included as well. By arranging these Concerti for string quartet and piano I hope to make it possible for more pianists to play them in a chamber setting, and for more audiences to become acquainted with, or reacquainted with, these works of art. The beauty, of these arrangements is that they bridge the gap between playing this concerto in public with a 2nd piano accompaniment, or with full orchestra. They make it possible for pianist and string quartet to reinvigorate the canon of these Concerti without the space, sonic volume, and expenses of full orchestra, thus making it possible to play in a wider variety of smaller and more intimate venues. This in turn creates the opportunity for more audiences to enjoy these works performed more often. I have loved these pieces all my life, and by arranging them in this way the Mozart Piano Concerti will be played more, heard more, and be given the honor they deserve.

Flute,Piano - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1384671 Composed by James M. Guthrie. 21st Century,Chamber,Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Wedding. Score and part. 27 pages. Jmsgu3 #968948. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1384671). A concert solo or encore with piano accompaniment. A good encore is essential for a concert as it can be the show's highlight and leave a lasting impression on the audience. While encores were traditionally spontaneous, they have become a customary part of a concert's script, with performers often planning them. Encores allow artists to play fan favorites, respond to audience enthusiasm, and create a memorable conclusion to the show. They can also provide a break for the performers. However, some artists and concertgoers have disapproved of encores becoming a routine part of the show, as they can feel disingenuous when expected rather than spontaneous. Despite this, encores remain an expected and significant element of many live performances.

Danielle Rosaria #2863099. Published by Danielle Rosaria (A0.894435). This is the third piece in my Year of Mercy Series. Like Misericordia II, it is for violin, cello, and piano. The piano outlines the harmonies with an undulating, flowing eighth note pattern as the violin and cello have a lyrical conversation together.   This simple composition is written to celebrate the beauty of forgiveness and the freedom it brings. In honor of the Jubilee Year of Mercy declared by Pope Francis, this series is meant to show the love and joy with which God offers His mercy and forgiveness.Come now, let us set things right, says the Lord: Though your sins be like scarlet, they may become white as snow; Though they be crimson red, they may become white as wool. ~Isaiah 1:18

Easy Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1060190 By Johnny Only. By Jonathan Robert Wright. Arranged by Dana Thynes. Children,Folk,Traditional. Score. 2 pages. Dana Thynes #664509. Published by Dana Thynes (A0.1060190). Written for early piano, this easy-for-beginners arrangement includes lyrics, chord symbols, and a few lettered notes - AlphaNotes. Kids love to sing along as they are playing, and it helps with the counting! Adding left hand notes comes easily once the melody is mastered, and they can even turn those left hand notes into open chords if they have the skill. A few out-of-beginner-range notes are the primary notes using letters in the note heads. The brief introduction, with its inclusion of the recognizable Jaws Theme, will make this even more fun for your students. The doubled timing is perfect for those students with beginning counting skills. Despite how well known this theme is, students can struggle with multiple repeated notes such as Baby Shark uses in every phrase. Guthrie, ASCAP. 19th Century,Chamber,Classical,Contest,Festival,Wedding. 72 pages. Jmsgu3 #803356. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.1205174). Duration: ca. 20:00 minutes.1.       Andante grazioso, quasi allegretto.2.       Scherzo: Allegro.3.       Allegretto.4.       Andante.5.       Allegro ma non troppo.6.       Allegretto quasi andante.7.       Presto.Beethoven's Bagatelles Op. 33 are quite typical of his early style, retaining many compositional features of the early Classical period.  The first bagatelle in particular is arguably one of Beethoven's most well-known pieces. While they may seem light-hearted and not to be taken too seriously, they are still well-crafted works that embody the younger Beethoven's style. The Bagatelles Op. 33 were composed by Beethoven in 1801-02 and published in 1803. Bagatelles are shorter and less complex than sonatas, often consisting of a single movement. They were intended to be played as light entertainment or as encores at the end of a concert.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.995184 Composed by Anthony Bannach. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 16 pages. Anthony Bannach Music #5794481. Published by Anthony Bannach Music (A0.995184). I hope everyone has been doing well during this crazy time.  Originally I wrote these preludes as parts of composing exercises for Alan Belkin's book Music Composition: Craft and Art.  They sat around for a bit until during the quarantine when I took a look at them again.  I realized that these pieces had a lot of character to them, and they were quite distinct in nature.  The first movement is a simple ternary form piece which begins and ends in the key of g minor and has a very neo-romantic tonal space. The B section is a brisk, more straight-forward tonal texture, but has a fun little twist sequencing up near the end of the section.  The second movement was composed with the B vs Bb dichotomy functioning as a germinating cell for the rest of the movement's material. More impressionistic and mysterious than the other two movements, it also lacks a more traditional formal structure, instead relying on the development of motivic cells to make the movement cohere together in a logical way. The third movement is also a modified ternary movement, but with the A sections being played at different speeds, and the second A ending having an outro section attached.  The B section is also more like a sonata form developmental section (without the required tonic-dominant modulatory feature). This movement is not only tonally very colorful, but also dynamic in regards to tempo, slowing and quickening often, giving the piece a continual sense of renewed spirit.  Rather than just release the preludes as seperate pieces,  I found that when played in a certain sequence, they represent a progression of mental and spiritual being that many people have, including myself, been going through during this time.  As such, I made them into a suite.  If it brings you a little bit of joy or excitement during this time (and after this is over), that's all that I can hope for.
