This arrangement in A Major is very easy and playable and can be ready for performance with minimal rehearsal time.  Written especially for young string students it will make your group sound fantastic and will without question be an excellent addition to your Christmas concert. Music does not have to be difficult to sound good. If you are looking for something playable and full sounding you found it in this string orchestra series for young players composed by a retired music teacher who actually worked with young players. You will find this composition keeps all instruments in 1st position and utilizes three part harmony that benefits ensembles lacking adequate instrumentation.  Viola and 2nd violin are doubled as are cello and contrabass. There can be as little as one player per part or placing numerous players on each part will obviously produce a bigger and fuller sound.
