It was released in 2008 as the lead single her second studio album Fearless. The song was written about a love interest of Swift's who was not popular among Swift's family and friends. Because of the scenario, Swift related to the plot of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and used it as a source of inspiration to compose the song. However, she replaced Romeo and Juliet's original tragic conclusion with a happy ending. It is a mid-tempo song with a dreamy soprano voice, while the melody continually builds. The lyrics are from the perspective of Juliet. The song received wide critical praise with critics complimenting Swift's writing style and the song's plot. It was also a commercial success, selling over 8 million copies worldwide, therefore establishing itself among the best-selling singles of all time. In the United States, the song peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over 6 million paid digital downloads, becoming Swift's best-selling single to date and was once the best-selling download by a female country solo artist.

Jazz Ensemble Jazz Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1174269 By Bing Crosby. By Irving Berlin. Arranged by Francesco Protasi. 20th Century,Christmas,Jazz,Standards. Score and parts. 47 pages. Francesco Protasi #774432. Published by Francesco Protasi (A0.1174269). This Irving Berlin classic has been arranged in a Basie-esque swing style. Originally commissioned for the B. Reed Henderson High School Jazz Ensemble, it has since been adapted for Little Big Band. This chart is meant to really lay back, but dont be fooled. The harmonies are meant to sing, even quietly, so there should be some intensity behind every note, and don't be afraid to exaggerate what is on the page. Rhythms, articulations, dynamics, everything is fair game. It's a simple chart, but it is more than capable of packing a punch!

Percussion Ensemble - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.908406 Composed by Richard Rodgers. Arranged by John M. Licari. Broadway,Film/TV. Score and parts. 13 pages. Music Preparation Services #5196201. Published by Music Preparation Services (A0.908406). Edelweiss - Rodgers & Hammerstein (Percussion Ensemble)Arranged by John M. LicariMusic Preparation Serviceswww.musicprepservices.com Edelweiss is a show tune from the 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music. It is named after the edelweiss, a white flower found high in the Alps. The song was created for the 1959 Broadway production of The Sound of Music, as a song for the character Captain Georg von Trapp (originated by the performer Theodore Bikel). In the musical, Captain von Trapp and his family sing this song during the concert near the end of Act II, as a statement of Austrian patriotism in the face of the pressure put upon him to join the navy of Nazi Germany following the Anschluss (Nazi annexation of their homeland). It is also Captain von Trapp's subliminal goodbye to his beloved homeland, using the flower as a symbol of his loyalty to Austria. In the 1965 film adaptation, the song is also sung by the Captain earlier in the film when he rediscovers music with his children. It was the last song ever written by Oscar Hammerstein II, prior to his death in August, 1960. This arrangement is written for a percussion ensemble, featuring glockenspiel, marimba, snare, bass, triangle, tambourine, and timpani.
