A flute, bassoon, and harp arrangement of J.S Bach's Siciliano from the Eb major Flute Sonata. This movement is in the key of G minor. The harp part was written with a full-sized lever harp in mind and includes several lever changes, all clearly marked using diamond-shaped notes in the score. Pedal harpists will need to mark their own pedal changes. Includes a full score, a 2-page flute and bassoon part (in duet format), and a separate 2-page harp part. Piano can easily be used in lieu of the harp by ignoring the diamond-shaped notes.

Flute Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.964350 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by Anderson Leal. Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards,World. Individual part. 8 pages. Leyandder Trustworthy #6231121. Published by Leyandder Trustworthy (A0.964350). The present collection was the result of research and dedication, in order to analyze and select well known and well executed works, for this instrument (flute), unfortunately, it was necessary to leave some better known works out of the collection, such as: Septet in E flat, Opus 20, and the themes of the Opera Fidelio, Opus 72b, as soon as, these are not so favorable for execution on wind instruments, as well as they are of high difficulty. The purpose of this work is for beginners and interediate practitioners on wind instruments, and it can be used effectively by teachers and musical educators who need a material of easy accessibility, as well as good reading and interpretation quality. This material also has the aid of a cipher to be used in accompaniment of a harmonic instrument, because there is not always the availability of a professional pianist to accompany the student. In view of the above-mentioned considerations, I conclude by saying that the inspiration for the fabrication of this work is due to the reality observed in many music schools that are in a precarious state, not only of musical instruments or basic teaching materials, but also the lack of good quality musical editions accessible to educators and students, so that they have access to the great works making our musical future guaranteed of good musical quality and accessible to all.FOR ELISE; WoO 59MINUET IN G MAJOR; WoO 10/2ODE TO JOY; Opus 125CONCERTO IMPERATOR; Opus 73SYMPHONY NO. 5 THEME; Opus 67TURKISH MARCH; Opus 113MOONIGHT SONATA; Opus 27SONATINA; Ahn. 5SYMPHONY NO. 7 THEME; Opus 92 VIOLIN CONCERTO; Opus 61

Flute Trio 3rd part bass flute or concert - Intermediate - Digital Download SKU: F2.FM052 Composed by Arcangelo Corelli. Arranged by Robert Rainford. Score and parts. 57 pages. Forton Music - Digital #FM052. Published by Forton Music - Digital (F2.FM052). ISBN 9790708085515.Flute Trio - three flutes or two flutes and alto/bass flute. These transcriptions of Corelli's Op. 2 Trio Sonatas make great ensembles for grade 5 players. Each sonata consists of four small movements, varying in length from 8 bars to about 50 bars. Movement titles are taken from dance suites of the time, but the tempi do not necessarily reflect the titles. The top two flute parts are rhythmically independant, while the third part provides the bass line. (An alto flute part is included as an alternative to a concert flute for part 3). Key signatures are simple (C, G major and A minor), giving the players time to focus on the polyphonic lines. Flute one reaches top G very occasionally, whilst flute 2 reaches top F# once. Musically both interesting and attractive.

Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549868 Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Classical,Concert,Standards,Wedding,World. 56 pages. Jmsgu3 #3559227. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549868). Beethoven Sonata Op. 49 No. 2 arranged for woodwind quintet.Instrumentation: 1 flute, 1 oboe, 1 clarinet in Bb, 1 French horn, 1 bassoon.Duration: ca: 10:15 Score: 30 pages, 242 measures. In two movements. A great recital piece to demonstrate nuances of the woodwind quintet. Sonata Op. 49 No. 2 Arranged from Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 20, this is a simple but interesting work in two movements showing the composers sense of humor. The first movement Allegro ma non troppo and the second movement Tempo di Menuetto are both in the key of G. Both Sonatas 19 and 20 (op. 49, No. 1 & 2) are named Easy Sonatas because they are technically easier than the usual Beethoven Sonatas. This makes them very popular among students and teachers alike. Beethoven Background Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 –1827) was certainly a German pianist. Above all, he was probably one of the greatest composers in history. As a result, he is a pivotal character in the progress between the Classical and Romantic periods. He is certainly one of the most famous and hence important of all composers. Seems like his most familiar and noteworthy works include symphonies 1-9; piano concertos 1-5; and furthermore, the violin concerto. Also, certainly of extreme importance are the noteworthy 32 sonatas for the piano; the string quartets 1-16; the Missa solemnis; and likewise, his only opera, Fidelio. Beethoven Overview First of all, Beethoven was born and consequently raised in Bonn. Upon turning 21 he moved to Vienna probably to study composition with Haydn. That’s when he consequently grew a reputation as a brilliant pianist. Furthermore, he probably stayed in Vienna the rest of his life. In his late 20s it seems like his hearing certainly began to decline. It slowly declined until consequently he was nearly totally deaf probably by the last decade of his life. As a result, he stopped conducting and performing. Nevertheless, he continued to compose. As a result, some of his greatest works probably come from this period. First Period Seems like we often divide Beethoven’s life into three periods. Period 1 begins with Beethoven’s arrival in Vienna. Hence, during this period, he mastered the Viennese style of Haydn & Mozart. He consequently began increasing the size and scale of his works. Furthermore, he experimented with extreme dynamics, and likewise extreme tempi. He worked similarly with chromatic harmony. His First and Second Symphonies therefore belong to this period. Other important works also belong here: the first six string quartets and the Sonata PathĆ©tique, Op. 13. Second Period His second period probably began as soon as he realized that he was going deaf. During this period, it seems like he became obsessed with the idea of heroism. His works consequently become even larger and more massive. The most noteworthy of these include the symphonies 3 – 8, piano concertos 5& 6, 5 string quartets, several important piano sonatas (Waldstein and Appassionata), the Kreutzer violin sonata, the violin concerto and his only opera: Fidelio. Third Period In contrast, Beethoven's third period is branded above all by works of incredible intellectual depth, formal innovation, and penetrating expression. It seems like he continued to expand his works. Consequently, the string quartet Op. 131 spills over into seven connected movements. Likewise, in the Ninth Symphony he adds choral forces to his orchestra probably for the first time in history. Even more, other works from this period include his Missa solemnis, the final 5 string quartets (including the enormous Große Fuge) and the final five sonatas for piano.     www.jamesguthrie.com

Piano,Tenor Saxophone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.533440 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Paul Wehage. Baroque,Concert,Standards. Score and part. 35 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #2914077. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.533440). In 1720 J. S. Bach was in the service of Prince Leopold of Anhalt-Cƶthen, serving as his Kapellmeister. Since the court of Anhalt-Cƶthen was Calvinist, Church music was limited to congregational psalms and hymns. Bach’s work during this period consisted of writing chamber music for the Prince, who was an accomplished violinist, gambist and harpsichordist. Other works from this period include the Cello Suites, the violin and keyboard sonatas,, the Flute sonatas and the partita for solo flute and the Orchestral SuitesThe Sonata no. III in g minor is written in a three-movement Concerto form. The first movement uses a main theme close to that of the first theme of the Third Brandeburg concerto. The slow movement is static and very sparce, but very expressive. The third movement is in the form of a gigue in the Italian style..

Flute Duet Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.811699 Composed by Jean Baptiste Loeillet of Gant (1688 - 1720). Arranged by Edited by Pat Spence. Baroque,Concert,Instructional,Standards. Score. 52 pages. Piper Publications #4301913. Published by Piper Publications (A0.811699). The first 3 of 6 sonatas. originally for recorder and keyboard, fitted and contrived for 2 flutes compos'd by Mr. Loeillet of Gant. Published in London by John Walsh, who was also the publisher of John Loeillet of London. The two Loeillets were first cousins and both confusingly, had started out as Jean Baptiste Loeillet. It is not absolutely clear who did the fitting and contriving, but the sonatas are clearly and rightly attributed to Loeillet of Gant. The Sonatas are in A minor, G major & F major and 'contrived' for players of equal ability. .
