Here is an easy instrumental duet arrangement (for BOWED PSALTERY solo with PIANO accompaniment) of an excerpt from the classical song Plaisir d’Amour by Jean Paul Égide Martini. This arrangement features the Christian lyrics that is usually considered a children’s song. The psaltery part was designed for a beginning psaltery player and includes only quarter and half notes and no flats or sharps. The piano accompaniment is at the intermediate level. To assist those new to reading music notation, two solo parts are included: one is the standard music notation and includes the lyrics for sing along enjoyment. The second solo part is identical to the standard music but instead of lyrics, the note names are provided below each note (example A, B, C…). The psaltery plays the melody throughout. An optional repeat and second ending is included in case a longer song is desired. New Organ Music for 2024!  STORM is a Toccata for Pipe Organ.  Its main theme is consisting of sextuplets which should be played in both hands fifty-fifty and a sonorous theme in the pedal and it sounds like... a summer storm.There are suggestions for the registration in the sheet music, but as always they are meant to be guidelines - choose which stops fit your organ best. If you have two manuals start with the Grand Orgue forte and switch two times to the Swells (or whatever you have) with a mezzoforte mix of stops.
