Gordon Cherry #4728839. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792215). Bach's 15 legendary Two Part Inventions, BWV 772-786, have been brilliantly transcribed for two Trombones by retired Los Angeles Philharmonic Principal Trombonist, Ralph Sauer. These works can be performed by 2 Tenor Trombonists or a Tenor & Bass Trombonist.  All of the Inventions are in the original key and have been ornamented in the Baroque style by Mr. Sauer.  The Inventions are perfect for addition to a recital or concert, or as a teaching tool and even just for fun in the practice room.  Each of the 15 Inventions have been carefully laid out over two facing pages making the music easy to read.  These works are for moderately advanced performers.

Double Bass,Instrumental Solo,Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.964411 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Leyandder Trustworthy. Baroque,Instructional,Sacred,Standards,World. Score and individual part. 2 pages. Leyandder Trustworthy #6323035. Published by Leyandder Trustworthy (A0.964411). Cantata 156 was written for the third Sunday after Epiphany in 1729, and was first performed on January 23 of that year. The text is by Picander, one of Bach's favorite librettists. of the four cantatas written by Bach for the feast (72, 73, 111 and 156), it was the last, and the only one scored for solo voice. Like Cantatas 73 and 111, it is a choral cantata, employing a choral melody in several movements. Cantata 156, in fact, employs two different melodies and choral texts in the second and sixth (final) movements, respectively; the second uses Machs mit mir, Gott, nach deiner Güt (Schein, 1628), which Herr, wie du willt, so schicks mit mir (Binemann, 1582) is reserved for the finale. This version of the piece was adapted for Contrabass along with a piano accompaniment that comes with the product.

French Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Interactive Download SKU: A0.478556 Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by John Mlynczak. This edition: Interactive Download. Classical. Small Ensemble. 73 pages. Duration 345. Published by Mlynczak Music (A0.478556). This arrangement for brass is of the lesser-known Great Fugue in G Minor and is such a fun work to play. The trumpet parts work well with a Bb Pic or Eb on the 1st part, and Eb or C on the second part. The subject, answer, and countersubject are all marked throughout. In addition, when a melody line is passed from one instrument to the other the score indicates where this passing is happening. This is a bit of a long blow but is very fun and quite challenging to create smooth linear phrases. I hope you enjoy it!
