String Orchestra - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1080129 By The Chainsmokers. By Andrew Taggart, Emily Schwartz, and Scott Harris. Arranged by Matt Arnett. Pop. Score and parts. 19 pages. Matt Arnett Music #684341. Published by Matt Arnett Music (A0.1080129). This song works shockingly well for orchestra - and everyone gets something fun to play. I did this arrangement with 2nd year students in mind. The piece is really good for focusing on low 2's in the violin and viola, dotted quarter AND triplet rhythms for everyone, and rests on beat 1. The rhythms are almost always true to the original - listen to it with your students to help them feel the tricky spots. You need a strong bass laying down the harmonic foundation throughout for this to work, cello is not doubling. There are usually three independent rhythmic parts going on, which presents a fun challenge and makes the layers of the piece fun and interesting. The piece also utilizes some fun techniques including stomping on the floor (sounds awesome on stage!) and knocking on the back of the instrument. There is an optional cut to remove the bridge if the piece is too much/too long for your group. This piece is a blast to play and I hope your students enjoy it!

Instrumental Duet,Piano Flute,Instrumental Duet,Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.877959 Arranged by Rebecca Bogardus. Children,Christian,Sacred. Score and parts. 9 pages. Lillwy Publishing #6234613. Published by Lillwy Publishing (A0.877959). This arrangement is part of the Primary Band Companion for LDS artists. These flexible arrangements are designed for flute students and include:1. Solo Flute: this part is the melody of a familiar primary song or hymn.2. Optional Flute 2: this duet part is optional. The duet part is at roughly the same level as the solo, so two beginning flutists may easily play a duet in church.3. Accompaniment Piano for Solo or Duet: This part may accompany either the first flute for a solo or both flutes playing a duet. It would also be appropriate while someone sings the melody. It is my hope that these arrangements will enable young flutists to begin sharing their musical talents in the first few months of study.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1019372 Composed by Kevin Longley. Christian,Easter,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 12 pages. Kevin Longley #6550433. Published by Kevin Longley (A0.1019372). Where Is JesusInspiration January 1st, 2021 was the start of my official retirement from a wonderful company that I had been employed at for 40+ years, Cirtronics Corporation. Where Is Jesus was my first retirement music so to speak. A 2 measure musical idea came to me in early January. Several weeks later I had the overall structure completed and started inputting the score into my music program. At this point I had no lyrical ideas, however with Easter approaching it occurred to me that the musics dramatic content leaned heavily towards Good Friday, in spirit. As I pondered that, I couldn't help but wonder what the disciples thought when Jesus was taken. Certainly they would question where he was, question what had happened. Thus was born Where is Jesus with the lyrical content asking and then answering. The Music The music is comprised of an A section which begins with the Tenors and Altos singing Where Is Jesus. The choir then responds (in chronological order, as recorded in the Gospels ) with lyrics that describe the brutality that Jesus endured. Here the weight of what has occurred is felt with the lyrics and music evoking great emotion. The B section follows; a retrospective look back sung by the soloist, stating that all had transpired as foretold, or as stated, by Jesus and the prophets. A C section is then introduced which contains the hope then, and the crux now, of our faith deaths chain cannot have its reign, he will rise, he will rise. After a short piano interlude we are returned to the A section, now modulated to a higher key; here the most emotional section of the music is felt with the raw truth of what has happened. He is nailed to the cross, he has died, we are lost. The piece then ends as it started Where Is Jesus, to be answered three days later.

Choral Choir (2-Part) - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1111188 Composed by Curtis Hanson. Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 4 pages. Curtis Hanson #713466. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.1111188). In this post-pandemic era, demand for octavos for smaller choirs is on the rise. This original short setting of the well-known text from Psalm 51 is set for SB voices and is accessible for groups of any ability. The first half of the song is for unison male and female sections, the second half splits into fairly easy 2-part voicing with the same melody and harmony. The accompaniment is very supportive of the singers. It is adaptable as a stand alone choral anthem or inserted as an offertory. This would be a welcome addition to the library with minimal voices. It would also work as a duet.

Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1249785 By Dave Pell. By Gus Kahn and Walter Donaldson. Arranged by Dave Gingras and John E. Dosher. Broadway,Jazz,Musical/Show. Score. 2 pages. DAVID LEE GINGRAS #844178. Published by DAVID LEE GINGRAS (A0.1249785). Love Me or Leave Me is a popular song written in 1928 by Walter Donaldson with lyrics by Gus Kahn. The song was introduced in the Broadway musical comedy Whoopee! which opened in December 1928. Ruth Etting's performance of the song was so popular that she was also given the song to sing in the play Simple Simon, which opened in February 1930. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We also added some pretty cool left-hand fills for your listening (playing?) pleasure - we hope you like what we've done to make this beautiful ballad something special!
