The song is as sunny as its title would suggest, with a gentle swing in the rhythm and a melodic contour that almost traces the shape of a smile. The arrangement is primarily homophonic, and whilst it has a few more added 6th chords than you'd find in traditional barbershop, it clearly has its roots in that idiom.
